If you try to go in too many directions at once, you go nowhere. But somehow, I don’t mind multitasking my writing projects. When I clock out of work, hopefully work won’t follow me home. Hopefully, I can focus on finishing something I started writing some time back. I juggle a few such projects right now. First, I know I need to get my novel to a publisher. Then there’s the comic book, Cadet Samson series. Then there’s the animation, SCRAMBLE. Somewhere in between those three works is me right now. And I don’t mind the juggling.
As long as my heart is in my writing, I can get a lot done, whether for my weekend advocacies or my writing projects. I’m not writing another book right now, but I am researching for a longer comic book series after Cadet Samson. You’ll see. 🙂
What will Marawi and the world look like in two decades’ time? That is fun to project, as worrisome as current events may be.
How will I bring SCRAMBLE into animated life with sound as I envisioned it 18 years ago? That is another adventure and a lot of savings and fundraising perhaps.
And lastly, my novel? Getting it published? Oh. Yeah. I need to stop procrastinating on that. 🙂
